Keysight 83620A is a synthesized sweeper for applications requiring the performance and accuracy of a synthesized source. This unit also provides the speed of a sweep oscillator. This unit provides component test source and also receiver test for conversion of frequency.

This unit was sold under the Hewlett Packard brand as well as the Agilent brand. Also available are options to the internal pulse modulation, resolution, and others. Option 001 adds the step attenuator, option 002 adds the internal modulation generator. This adds a digitally synthesized modulation waveform source.
Also available is the option 004 to move the RF output, external ALC input, pulse input and output, and AM/FM input connectors to the rear panel. Option 008 provides frequency resolution of 1 Hertz as the base unit resolution is 1 kHz.
